The Bull at Brantham, recently renovated, is a wonderful country pub and restaurant which combines the modern, with the traditional. Upon arriving, you can enjoy the stunning views overlooking the River Stour, whilst enjoying a drink, or dining in our new 80 seater restaurant.

Our Home-made meals suite all tastes, whether it's a snack or main meal from our Lunch and Light Bite menus, or dining in the evening with our full and regularly updated al carte menu.

We also cater for parties and weddings, with the use of our 1 acre garden, set in beautiful surroundings. With our ever changing offers, and live music hosted on most Fridays, why not come and relax with us.

We visited The Bull on Wednesday 12th of December. I'll start with the service, I have dined at some of the most outstanding Restaurants all over the World due to my job and I have to say that I have never experienced service of such high standard, the waiter, a tall young man looked after us all evening and his service was outstanding! We had such an enjoyable evening. The food was excellent. My wife even asked the waiter to go home with her, I think she would have left me in his place? We'll be back soon.

We have visited The Bull several times over the last 6 years and the recent revonvation is a huge improvement. Our latest visit was on 11 November when 6 of us had a delicious lunch. The homemade steak and kidney pudding was especially good. Our only complaint was the dreadful English on the menu - noticed by our teenage children! Examples; 'It's [the pub's] cellar'; 'It's full potential'; 'Marin-ere' (for Mariniere); 'river Stour' (for River Stour) - and many others. Even Cappuccino was spelt 'Cappacino' on the bill . Otherwise, no complaints!
